PLUSH SCOUT is a product operated by Plush74 Switzerland AG, which also operates the curated location platform at plush74.com.
Terms of service
The service. PLUSH SCOUT is provided by Plush74 Switzerland AG ("we"). It is a tool for production location scouting: you photograph locations, Scout organizes the material into spots on a map and produces shareable scouting reports. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to using the service for its intended, lawful purpose.
Plans and billing. Paid plans bill for the term shown at purchase and can be canceled anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. There is no minimum term. Purchases are made on this website, not inside the mobile apps.
When a plan ends. Existing scouting reports and their share links remain reachable in read-only form. Starting new projects or exports requires an active plan. Free-tier projects are removed 14 days after creation, with a warning beforehand.
Commissioned scouting. Commissioned jobs are arranged between the client and the scout via PLUSH SCOUT's matching flow; payment is collected before the scout starts work. Scouts are vetted but operate as independent contractors, not as Plush74 employees.
Your content. Photos, videos, voice memos, reports, and other content you upload remain yours. We claim no ownership, we do not resell your material, and we do not use it to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to photograph and share what you upload.
Share links. Report share links are unlisted URLs; anyone holding a link (and its password, if set) can view that report while sharing is on. You control sharing, passwords, expiry, and role-scoped links from the project.
Acceptable use. No unlawful content, no abusive automation against the service, no attempts to access other accounts' data. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability. The service is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Swiss law applies; place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.
Changes. We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
Privacy policy
Who is responsible. Plush74 Switzerland AG, Zähringerplatz 11, CH-8001 Zürich, Switzerland is the controller for personal data processed by PLUSH SCOUT. Contact us via /contact.
What we collect. (1) Account data: email address, name, and a salted password hash, or your Google / Apple sign-in identifier if you use those. (2) Project content you create: photos and videos including their location (GPS) and capture-time metadata, voice memos, notes, spot addresses derived from GPS, and project details you type in. Location data is the core of the product: it is what places your photos on the map. (3) Payment data: handled by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers, only the payment status and a receipt reference. (4) Report analytics: when someone opens a report share link we record first-party events (open, view, download, approval) with coarse technical data to show you report activity. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
Where it lives. Photos, projects, and reports are stored on our own servers in the European Union (Germany). Transactional email is delivered via Google's Gmail API. We do not put your material on consumer cloud storage and we do not sell or share it with unrelated third parties.
What it's used for. Solely to provide the service: organizing your material, rendering your reports, delivering the emails you trigger (share notifications, receipts, account mail), and keeping the service secure. No profiling, no ad targeting, no AI training on your content.
Who sees what. Your projects are private to your account (and your team workspace, on team plans). A report becomes visible exactly to the people you give the share link to, while sharing is on. When you commission a scout, the brief and the contact details needed to complete the job are shared with the matched scout only.
Retention and deletion. Your data stays as long as your account exists. You can delete individual photos, spots, and projects at any time, and you can delete your entire account yourself: in the app under Account → Danger zone → Delete account, or on the web at scout.plush74.com/account after signing in. Deletion permanently removes your account, projects, media files, and share links from active systems; encrypted backups rotate out within 14 days. Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices, held by our payment provider) are retained for the statutory period. You can also request deletion via /contact.
Your rights. Under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to processing. Write to us via /contact; we answer within 30 days. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority or the Swiss FDPIC.
Cookies. We use only functional cookies: your sign-in session and, on report links with a password, an access cookie. No tracking cookies, no consent banners needed.
