Auto-sorting
Dump the whole shoot. GPS groups every frame into spots, in the order you walked them, so there's nothing to drag into folders at midnight.

Clusters within ~100m
Frames shot within about a hundred metres collapse into one spot: one place, one card.
Walking order, automatically
Spots are sequenced by capture time, oldest first, so the report reads in the order you actually scouted.
Rename and merge at your desk
Tidy the auto-result: rename a spot, or merge two that are really one location. The photos follow.
Nothing gets lost
Photos with no GPS land in an Unsorted tray for you to place by hand: never silently dropped.
